I had to work for a few hours Saturday so I wasn’t able to attend Julio’s birthday birth, but I heard Benji had lots of fun. Dani & Kip were able to take him for me and apparently that place is a Train lover’s paradise! (Si – I have Julio’s gift, when we can meet so we can give it to him??)

After DK&kids joined us for dinner we went up to Dary’s! It was movie night!

That was so cool, Sam got a movie projector to play on Dary’s house and we all set in the empty lot next door to Dr’s place; the weather was perfect too bad the kids got a little impatient as they got tired. At some point Dani got wet from the sprinklers that were on a timer and went off on Dary’s grass!!!! LOL

They ended up staying until close to 4am. It was like 2 am, Kip and Dan were watching a movie at home, kids were asleep and there head me and Daniela grocery shopping! – Of course I was in a bad mood all day today because I think I only slept about 3 hours, but it 8was* awesome to have the whole store to ourselves, no kids, Starbucks Mud pie hmmm… 

But my mood did change after we went to Mike and K’s house for a BBQ/Birthday Party for Frank (Andy’s). We saw all kinds of good people (Katie, Tim, Frank M, Andrea, Angela…), nice time, delicious food and to close up top notch K gave me a food massage and a big glass of wine right before we came home. K is such a nice girl! She so feels like family and it’s so nice to be able to just be honest, open and all good things with her! It feels sometimes like I known her in ages!

So ended up that Andy knew Tyler an old friend I hanged out when I worked in Mount Adams with Dr T. Tyler also knew K (what a small world) and it was AWESOME to get connected with him again!

I’m sad to know summer is close to be over =( Enjoy some pictures:

So I was almost finished with this huge post trying hard to catch up with this past week and…

My lap top crashed! =(      

So now I don’t have time to write anymore besides I have an extra errand to run –Best Buy! Good thing I still have warranty for a few years more!

Grandpa Elan is gone… But we did enjoy every minute of him while we could! Dan took a few days off; we met up with Uncle M & Kristin a few times. Lots of quality time.

Elan and I had a chance to talk about all kinds of things, he told me lots of stories from his childhood, and Dan’s childhood and just family things in general that I’m sure will help me to be a better wife, mother and person!

So here is just a few highlights from this past week:

* Noah’s party was nice – At this toy store called “kinder Haus” We just had Benji’s closest friends, cake and ice cream; very simple and small. Cincinnati Party Headquarters did a wonderful job! She kept the kids busy and entertained – They worked on a project of a notebook to take home, played hullabaloo, Pin the tail on the Donkey, Monster’s bowling, a parachute game and some other stuff I can’t remember right now! She served the cake, ice cream and drinks and cleaned up! Highly recommended; unbelievable work for a very affordable price! =))

* We took the boys to a pre-season game. It was the perfect day, a Saturday night, not hot, not cold! Not a “real” game not crowded! Too bad they played like CRAP! =oP

Blaaaahh – I’m running out of time…  Some fast news:

* Trader’s Joe had a key lime pie for sale ( I got it!) expired in 1997!!!??? Dang! But also they had a nice delicious cinnamon cookie!! We stoped by after visiting Dr. Bill (Noah has a “little” problem with too much dairy)

* I think we all got some sort of bug going on…

* Whne it comes to poop Benji is doing great with potty training; now pee forget about it!

* My dad starts chemo again next wednesday

* Claudia’s got her first boyfriend - Gugah - Have I mentioned that???

 Doug sent me an e-mail this morning with these pictures… Yeks! 

We enjoy eating pizza, but the ones from stores and/or frozen are to me fast food. So lately we being making our own pizzas – this way we can choose what king of flour, cheese and all other ingredients to use (and use organic as well). I think we are mastering the pizza making thing; this week we had the best of so far – Grilled BBQ chicken on a Garlic and Herbs crust! Yummy! The picture shows nothing special but wow It was good! =)

And after having Benji’s first birthday party at our house with 50+ people in the house and green carpet I decided to have Noah’s first party at the Kinder House. They’ll do EVERYTHING, from invitations to thank you notes, cake, goody bag and decoration! The invitations were sent out on Friday, Benji helped me choose the decoration (Mickey Mouse), the 5 gifts to go on girls/boys goody bags and 7 games to be played at the party; now all we got to do is show up there on the day! =) Nice or what?

We also had some pretty big events for Benji this week:

* He saw a real pirate at CMC, he was a little scared and didn’t really want to go for a picture – but it was definitely for him something to remember, he was excited to tell everyone. He is very much into to pirates and loves yelling “AARRRR”. The funny guy shake hands with me and BUM, in a blink of an eye my wedding ring was gone!!! Very sneaky pirate make me remember the “Ciganos” from Brazil – My grandparents always told us stories about them – how they would “hypnotize” you and that was how they got so rich!!

* He mastered riding his bike. I mean * really* This kid will go up and down the hill, curves, he has fallen bad in the empty lots around the neighborhood and he is always ready to get up and  keep paddling! =)

It was very nice to have dad around for this mini 4 days vacation. It was a hard Monday without him – It’s funny how we get used to good things very fast! =)

Last week we had an YLEO class at my house – that was very interesting and lots of good teaching! I think it was supposed to be like a one hour thing but we totally lost track out time and spent the whole afternoon talking about good thing to do to our bodies and families–Thanks M!

Friday night Benji sort of had his first sleep over – we had dinner at Isaac & Grace’s house – the kids were exhausted so we got all of them in bed around 9, 9:30ish. Benji slept on the bottom bank – just like at our house and Isaac on the top. While I was next door at Grace’s room getting Noah to sleep, I was LMAO listening to Isaac and Ben saying “knoc-knoc” jokes to each other!

For Benji was a sleep over except we took him home 2 am when we came home and he slept thru the car ride to his bed all the way to 9 am on Saturday morning! =) Yeah!

We “kind of” watched Man of the Year - except Daniela and i felt asleep half way thru! (That is how exciting this movie was!!!)

Saturday night Dary’s family was in town from PR and we went over for a Porto Rican night! =) It was a nice time – the food was just awesome!

This weekend we had very nice pleasant trips to Fresh Market/ Wild oats and Trader’s Joe – We got quite a few items on sale and way more stuff then we usually do; I was very happy about it!

Wild oats had Benji’s favorite “manimals” on sale – so I got him a few more “manimals” for his collection!

For dinner on Sunday Dan made Crab Ragoons and Egg/Spring Rolls! Hmmm they were *SO* awesome!

For the CR we spent about 6 dollars for 25 of them and the Spring Rolls about $6 for about 7x more then what you get at a Chinese place!!!! They were filled with cabbage, pork and carrots. Next we’ll try rice noodles!  Dan is so awesome figuring out how to make yummy tasting things! (No wonder I gained so many pounds since we got married!)

Benji woke up with a fever this morning and I gave him overmegadoses of all our natural stuff, from Silver to Zinc, VitC, AIB, Echinacea & + . Let’s hope that will help his body get over this thing!
