Seat back & Relax - this is a long post!
Today I have a mug of hot chocolate with Baileys, under the blanket (on a busted knee) with some good music in the background – So seat back and relax; this will be a long post!

About the knee – yap! It was bad. Noah didn’t eat very much for dinner last night, so he woke up hungry just a few minutes after 4am. As I was going down with him to get some milk I felt down on my right knee. We felt down about 6 steps with all my weight + Noah’s on my right knee. By the time I stopped I was basically doing a split. The pain was so excruciating – I thought I was going to pass out… I felt like throwing up and tears were running down. Ouch! I’m going to see Dr. Pam tomorrow and she’ll tell me more; I’ll be sure to post.
On a better note: Thanksgiving was a blast! It was also Dan’s 34th birthday! Time flies! He wasn’t even 30 when we got married!
The day was awesome! Everyone brought something to eat (from a pretty traditional TKG menu), so we only have like 3 or 4 pans to wash, the food was very good and the people were absolutely fun!
We had lunch, played games, watched the games and hanged out until time for dinner… than we all ate again! I probably gained like 10 pounds this past week…
… and talking about weight I think I never mentioned that I’m back on Weight Watchers. I did it last spring and lost close to 30 Pounds, then during the summer “ICE CREAM” ruled and I gained the 30 back plus another 10! So now I’m bigger than ever – even bigger then when I was pregnant!
I tried controlling my mouth by myself, watching what I ate, walking and stuff but I did not notice any chances… so I went back to WW!
I being doing for 3 weeks and I already lost 7.8 Pounds! - The difference this time is that this HAS to be a life style changing for me! I can keep stretching big and small all the time! So I’m back with the program and slowly I’m trying to change bad habits all around!
Dan also lost 4 Pounds! He is not counting points but I guess just our “menu” change has done it for him!
I got a DVD collection for ZUMBA. I love it! Angela and Daniela both come over a couple of days/wk to do it with me. It’s only like 30 minutes but it’s some *serious* cardio!
It’s being hard to control my mouth this past week… Thanksgiving – I mean, how can you not eat a little of everything????
Then last Friday Daniela became a citizen so we had pizza & cake. Next day was Jim’s 60th birthday and that was a feast! Also a LOT OF FUN! I totally had a hangover next day… but it was all worth it! =) Fun fun!
Dary had a LS gathering and here it comes more food - Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
I feel like I’m gonna go in this week and find out I got all the 7.8 #s back; but I must be positive and think at least I didn’t “pack” another 7.8 on top off what I was before – ykwim?
Totally changing subject here, a few weeks ago Angela took me to the Flower Factory – let me tell ya – that place it’s a paradise! We were there for over 2 hours and didn’t even get through half of that place. Imagine like a Old Time Pottery + Hobby Lobby + Michael’s + Party City + Dollar Store + Joann Fabrics all together and with a much better price?! Very cool!
I must mention too that not long ago I had a very pleasant visit to my nurse midwife. Due to his high insurance bills Dr. Metherd joined a nasty “Drs Associate” thing. All that “personal care” we had from his wife and staff is over so I decided to see this NMD instead. And the reason why I *must* mention this is because I never heard of a woman having a “pleasant pap exam” lol – Believe me or not it was NOT bad at all! Maybe this all sounds pretty strange and you may be thinking “sheep” – If you are stop reading you polluted mind! =oP
I’m off to play with Dan now.
No! no You poluted mind! play video games!We got new controllers to our x-box, we got wireless one, and cut the cord of our old ones,so while Dan and I play – Benji & Noah think they are playing too! It gives us a good hour of fun! =)
